ESPO Corporation is the legacy of Gene Esposito Sr., a contractor who performed Mechanical Design for firms in and around the Chicago area. Realizing that he could help other technical/engineering contractors find security, providing them with fair compensation and benefits, he decided to create a business that would do just that. In 1965, he created ESPO Engineering, working from out of a store front. In a short period the business began its rapid growth and Esposito moved the company to a converted building in Bedford Park’s clearing district. This building – which Esposito converted, himself – became the ESPO Engineering main office.

Quickly, ESPO Engineering became the Midwest leader in the placement of temporary and full-time technical professionals, and providing in-house design and drafting services. Using thorough screening methods, ESPO sought only the most qualified candidates, who not only meet the job’s skill requirements but who also had the proper work ethic and “personality fit” to work well in specific corporate cultures.

In 1985, ESPO moved to its current home in Willowbrook to better serve its customer base and, in 1989, converted their drafting and design boards to CAD stations to stay on the cutting edge of technology. The company’s continued growth necessitated the 1994 purchase of anther building dedicated to handling all in-house design projects.

The next year, ESPO Systems was formed to accommodate the growing IT trend. In 1998, ESPO Systems started its network implementation and design group, satisfying even more client needs.

Recently, customer demand for office support and administrative staffing prompted us to create ESPO Corporation. With the same dedication to finding technology professionals, ESPO began supplying support, labor and administrative professionals to clients. As always, ESPO places only the most qualified candidates with excellent work ethic and personality.

Today, ESPO Corporation is stronger than ever in supplying the right personnel and support to fulfill client needs. With last year’s opening of our Libertyville branch, we are enjoying exciting growth and look forward to a bright future.
